This qualification is ideal for those who manage, care and support services in adult care sector. It will support the new leader in adult care apprenticeships standard. This course contains several units of assessment including mandatory and optional units, all of which are within the “Regulated Qualification Framework” (RQF). For each units completed successfully, credits are archived.

Course Description:

The course aims to develop learners’ skill and knowledge in leadership and management to ensure that services can respond fully to the needs and aspirations of those that use their provision. Some of the benefits include:

How will you be assessed?

This course is assessed using the portfolio, where the set questions are designed to test your knowledge of the course materials. You will have access to the learning materials and submit your work online via the learning management system. Your assigned assessor will direct, guide and mark and check your work throughout the programme. Also, you will need to take part in the workplace observations to complete this course. 

Requirements:

• Must have acquired the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care Course or Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care Course certificate or have a degree certificate in related courses such as Psychology.
• Must currently be working in a Managerial position for example, Supervisor, Registered Manager, RGN, Coordinator.
